I am an art student in Seattle that dreams of building boats and creating installations that draw people into unforgettable experiences. But for the time being I primarily work in the two-dimensional. The majority of my work has been sewn with spiritual threads that search out the mysterious and unseen movement that swirls through the hearts of men. I have discovered that God brings radiance to my creativity and causes my heart to "throb and swell with joy." I named this portfolio after one of my favorite quotes,
"Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3

getting ready for Round 68
My friend told me the other day “you can’t paint over wounds but you can use wounds to paint with” Thats what this is about. wounds. the pain that you can’t run away from. So instead you fearlessly and openly search out the deep places that make you feel broken. and weak. its about letting go and walking hand in hand with the One that turns wounds into beauty. Weaknesses into strengths.
i went into the Round with that in mind. No spectacular vision or plan. Just pain and the hope of beauty.
My newest painting wooo!! finished on Jan 1st, 2011. Happy new year!!
